Welcome to my Gaphics Buds page. This will be a thumbnail gallery (click on each to see the full size version) of everything I post to the Graphic Buds Forum or enter in their contests. Some are challenges, some are tutorial tries, some are the contest entries, some I was just showing off, and some were extras I did just 'cause.

  1. I was playing with a rainbow outline tutorial, the vector text tutorial, and the fantasy tutorial images and combined them in this valentine. My very first post to the tutorial forum, or any of the Graphic Buds forums, for that matter.
  2. Another experiment with the rainbow gradient and Almathera's Puddle filter. My 22 year old son really likes this one.
  3. My mouse challenge post. We were given several cartoon mice and told to go play. By the time I decided I should do something with them, the mice had already been almost everywhere on earth, so I put them in space on the moon. I used the glass globe tube from a Graphic Buds tutorial for the space helmet and some of the images from the fantasy tutorial.

  3. Another fantasy tutorial combined with a dragon tube and Almathera's Puddle filter. This one is part of a Fun Dragon Set for a web page that I put together.

  1. My first try at the snowglobe tutorial and I posted it to the Graphic Buds Tutorial Forum. This was the easiest snowglobe tutorial I have seen yet.
  2. I had to make a globe for a St Patrick's Day gift page.
  3. This was a gift.
  4. And, this was another gift. I just got carried away with making globes.

 
This was my first contest entry and I tied for 3rd. There was also a tie for 2nd. All the entries in this contest were really good and it was hard to choose just one to vote for when it came time to vote. We were given three different wishing wells to play with.

  1. My first try at the fuzzy bunnies tutorial. I accidentally fuzzed part of the heart, didn't want to go back and "fix" it, so fuzzed the whole heart and called it a pillow. 2 Feb 2000
  2. Well, I fell in love with the lovely table in the scene that Fisherman/James posted to the Graphic Talk Forum and just had to try my hand at the table. I know the perspective is not right, but I'll practice. 3 Feb 2000
  3. I learned how to make my own gradient, then applied it, then deformed it in several different ways.
