hellen5's PSP Picnic Basket Tailgate Party

Week 2 - Creating Tube Pictures

We had to create our own tubes using custom brushes in two or more colors.
Note: I have PSP 6.02 and all my tubes are that version.

Cat Tube Colors
Colors used for brush, the tan first, then the black. Then I selected the outside area with the magic wand (and the bit under his tail), added a new layer, inverted the selection, modified/contracted by 2, and flood filled with white. Moved that layer below the other, merged layers/visible, copy and pasted as a new image, then tubed that image.

Used the background pink and red, then I tried my hand at recoloring just parts of the brush green, don't like it.

Here I used my stained glass sampler pattern as the brush, two shaded of blue, and put a photo behind it before I tubed it.

Then we had to follow a tutorial on painting pictures with tubes. Here is my picture from the first time I did tube painting on the left. On the right, is a picture using the cat and stained glass window tube that I did for this lesson and a bay window tube that I did a while back. Don't remember where I got the flower tube, but it was from a site that said free use for personal sites and images. OH, I tried to use the rest of the photo I used in the tube for the side windows of the bay window.
