This is my version of how to make your own Glitter fills for the glitter lesson in
Week 2 of
's PSP On the Move Class and as my extra credit tutorial for that class. I made this tutorial before I saw that Mari at DreamerzDesigns had already included a "how-to" in with her tutorial.

Create a new image 100x100, transparent, 16 Mil colors. Flood fill with a dark solid color, here I used #3A5D32, but any solid dark color will work. Go to Effects|Noise|Add and use these settings. I also got good results adding noise with a setting of 20, but make sure you use the "random" setting. Results - ![]() |

Go to Colors|Colorize and apply these settings for a nice blue glitter. Play with your settings to find something you like. Results - ![]() |

Go to Colors|Adjust|Brightness/Contrast and use these settings. Again you can play with the settings until you get something you like. You can save it at this point and use it like this (see below). Results - ![]() |

If you want it sparkley, like in the lesson, do this: Double-click on the Select Area Tool You will see the top half of the area selected. Now do an Edit|Copy and Edit|Paste as a new image. Results - ![]() |

Double-Click on the Select Area Tool twice more and change just the top and bottom setting: first to 25 and 75, then to 50 and 100. Do a Edit|Copy and Edit|Paste as a new image for each of these selections. Now use your white sparkle tube at 15 and add one or two sparkles to each image in different places. Then save them. Now you can use these images to animate and glitter text and dingbats. To recolor them, just use the Color|Colorize and play with the settings. |
