I am recently widowed, with one grown son who has been married just over 7 years and a granddaughter who I adore. I live in a small town in Oklahoma and have no wish to move to a larger town or city.

I am a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), an educational and historical research organization of people who like to practice/re-live what they research and teach others both inside and outside of the group. Our local group was called the Stronghold of Falconrige (currently in dormant status) and is inside the geographical boundaries of the Kingdom of Ansteorra (Most of Texas and Oklahoma).

I do all sorts of crafts and really enjoy any of the needlearts, from handsewing to simple weaving, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, etc. I am into scrapbooking too and love scrapping pictures of my granddaughter. I also like anything to do with beads, any and all kinds of beads.

And, I'm doing graphics for web pages and learning all I can about building the pages too, including html and javascript. I'm also into 3D graphics and learning how to drive my new WACOM tablet.
