LVS - PSP7 Out of the Box

hellen5's Homework Week 1

Introducing masks and their basic use.

One of the circle masks with the chisel 3D effect, with orange as my background color. I really like the way this turned out.

Simple gear shape with a drop shadow applied to a mountain photo. I pulled a color from the clouds and filled a layer below the masked layer before saving.

Making your own masks and applying them to your pictures.

One of the stars, using a selection contracted 40 and feathered 40 and copied to another layer. That selection was deformed to fit entire image. The original selection was inverted, feathered 10, and layer transparency set at 50. I like the the way it kind of looks shadowed.

I added this picture after I dreamed about stripes. In PSP8 I filled a square with the zebra strip pattern that came with the program, then used mask 008 on it and made my mask from that image. Used it on another photo from my photo CD and framed it.

NOTE: All photos from photo CD I own.
