Week 2 - Homework

Lesson 2 Part 1 - Body Building
Lesson 2 Part 2 - Fleshing Things Out
Lesson 2 Part 3 - Toon Gal, Dressed to Kill

Homework Assignment -
For this week I'd like to see at least a couple of figures, one of each sex and in different poses, both the crash test version and the fully completed toon.

Toon Crash Dummy - BoyBob Dressed
My original toon crash dummy and Bob. I am not happy with his hands, but I like the body's positioning.

The toon crash woman dummy and Little Hiawatha sitting. I started the dummy with Bob's body and adjusted like the lesson said for a woman's body.

I took Hiawatha's pose from a magazine photo (which I snapped with my digital camera and cropped and resized) and originally flowered her pants, but the flowers wouldn't stay, maybe my computer ran out of memory, it was acting sluggish by the time I finished all those vectors and layers. I used the starting crash dummy and had to redraw her arms and legs, and, of course, make everything else fit where it was supposed to, then added Hiawatha's head from last week, a bouquet of flowers, the Easter basket, and something for her to sit on. Okay, I didn't finish the arms, wasn't sure how to make bare arms other than redrawing and I may try that later in the week. I also have a picture of a toddler I want to try this on, but I don't know if I will have time this week.
