Week 2 - Homework

Homework Assignment -
1. Create several basic shapes to save as your own "tag and envelope" library. Feel free to share any custom shapes with your classmates.
2. Try creating a slide mount, decorating to your taste (add it to the layout kit you started with the papers from last week!).
3. Add a tag or two and an envelope to your layout kit.
4. Feel free to show us any layouts you've created using your new elements, either by themselves or combined with other components you already have.

PSE2 -

PSE2 Tag Shapes (143kb) - The three shapes were actually made when I had the trial copy of PS CS, but they work in PSE2. Includes the rounded top tag shape, the scalloped top tag shape, and the tree tag shape. I've also included the jade tree tag as a png file (as I don't remember how I got the jade look) and the puzzle shape as a black PSD file. I made the puzzle shape into a brush and use it that way.
NOTE: I've added the three tags as png files HERE (344kb).
PSE Slide Mounts (139kb) - The three slides in png format and the psd file for the slide mount, which I used as a brush.
PSE Envelope (857kb) - The Daisy Envelope with the blue tag as a psd file, a large file with the layers intact. And, HERE (468kb) is the envelope and tag as png files.

NOTE for Sally: I was able to almost duplicate the jade using EyeCandy 3.1's Glass with THESE settings in PSE and THESE settings in PSP. The number is the color I started with and the color I set in EC.

PSP8 -

PSP8 Tag Shapes (58kb) - just the shapes for the apple, the ghost, and the star tags. Remember to check the "retain style" for the apple and ghost tags, unless you want other results. The star is a basic shape I have modified slightly. Click HERE to get them as png files, for those not using PSP8.
PSP8 Slide Mounts (361kb) - The four slides in png format for those without PSP8.
PSP8 Envelopes (22.6kb) - Two envelops shape sets, front and back as PSP8 shapes. HERE are the png files for the plaid envelope, just the front (vellum) and back.
