This was the first site I found that I like the way negative space is used, and I still like it. To me it looks like a newsletter. The heading has the logo and the date, then a divider, then links and news. Very clean looking. What fits into the first and top part of the screen gives you enough information to tell what the site is about and let's you decide if you want to linger longer and investigate the lower part of the page or go to additional pages or links. I also like this site for the information available within it.

I tried several designs and additonal colors before I settled on this one, adding only green to the original colors. It is simple, but not plain, dull, or static. There is enough negative space in it to rest the eyes, but not lose the message.
I'm not too sure of this logo, but I wanted something to express the colors of my web designs and graphics, along with a play on the site name "Helen's Colorations". I'm also not sure if the negative space is right where I have it. Any suggestions would be appreciated and taken into consideration for redesign of this logo. Thanks for looking.
