Homework - Week 1

1. Familiarize yourself with the contents of the Preference menus, and set your preferences.
2. Configure your tool bars for your own personal workflow. I like all my toolbars at the top.
3. Align your palettes and dialogs for your personal workflow. I like wider materials and layer palettes and having a thumbnail of the current layer available.
4. Save at least one .wsp file with your personal settings. Done. I added a customized "selections" toolbar as I liked that idea and saved it with my workspace.
5. Take a screen capture of your workspace, and post that to your homework site. This could be the most interesting assignment the class has, as you will be amazed to see how other people configure PSP. You may see something from someone else's layout that may make your own life easier! Try to keep the image down to 800x600, please.. See Below.
6. Make a seamless tile similar to the one discussed in the lesson. Use this as a Web page background, and save it as a .bmp for use in your Patterns folder, as well. If you cannot construct a Web page, it's acceptable to submit the tile only. See my background tile on this page.
