 Homework - Week 2Assignment1. Create a monogram or a signature image using the techniques described in the first section of the lesson.  I used 15 h and v for the second set of curliques and this black scalloped border appeared on the right and bottom. I thought that would make a nice all around border so I did a rectangle selection of everything except those edges, inverted the selection and promoted it to a layer, rotated it 180 deg and erased just the purple over the end scallops. I like the effect, would make a nice picture frame. 2. Show an example of a gradient in an image, saved as a GIF using the GIF Optimizer.  3. Using either the test photo, or a photo of your own choosing, demonstrate at least 3 of the Grayscale methods described in the lesson.  Just Greyscaled.  Greyscaled border around car.  Guess this isn't really greyscaled, but the last part of the lesson, negative image, then hue/saturation/lightness and colors reduced to 16. Very surrealistic. 4.
