Homework Week 4

Homework Assignment -
1. Read Part 1. Make two of your own gradients and post them to your website.
2. a) Open your apple from week 1, make a copy, replace the solid fill with a gradient.
b) Create the optical Illusion. Terrorize your family and friends and report back.
c) Make your instructors an ice-cream cone, then make one for yourself. Use more than one scoop!
3. Start creating your submarine. Take the intermission break, make sure you follow directions.
4. Complete your submarine. Complete the water scene to go with it. Add anything you would like to add, be creative, add treasures, fish, anything!
5. Make a duplicate copy of your Scene, bring up your properties on various items and change the colors for the stroke and fill colors of your toons.

Some blues, some purples, my chocolate gradient, my strawberry gradient, and a bright, almost neon, green gradient that I made when I was working for PSPIZ.

I had this gradient called "Georgia peach" (don't remember where I got it) and it worked great. Used the apple shape and modified it, the eyes, and the leaves to make my peach to add to the other fruit created in week 1.

Your guess is as good as mine on the ice creams flavors for the left cone, but I like the old standards, strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate. Used a brown paper fill I have for the first layer on the cone. Was already working on the gingerbread shape, so filled him with the chocolate gradient. His eyes are the optical gradient. The background is a pastel rainbow gradient I made some time ago. No report on the optical illusion experiment, other than it worked for me.
