This is our tribute to our mother, "Birdie", as she was called by daddy and all of her friends.
Helen (Epling) Brown, Richard Epling, Robert Epling, and Linda (Epling) Howard

Mom loved flowers, especially irises, she grew them and used to try to teach us kids what the different varieties and colors were. She was always in her garden when not at work or sick or taking care of us. That is why Iris pictures are used on these pages. She also had a large rose bush that her father had given her with the most fragrant red roses from early spring until late fall. It grew right beside the driveway and we could smell the roses everywhere in the yard.

 

 

I was going to do a separate story page, but decided to put some stories on the picture page and will link to my siblings pages if they do separate pages themselves.
