By "Letterman Style Text", I mean as seen on The Late Show Web Page. Someone had asked in the Help Forum at PSPIZ how to do that type text with the top straight and the bottom shaped. This tutorial is what I came up with.
Create your text as a vector. Create a vector line, I used the Bezier Curve on a separate layer and move it under your text in the position you want your text to align with.Go back to your text layer, click on
Object Selector and select your text. Then right click on your selected text, in the menu choose
Now you can select each letter individually with the
again and move just the bottom of it up or down. To make it conform to the slant of the line, with the letter selected, hold the shift button down and move just one of the bottom corner nodes up or down. Don't move any of the side or top vector nodes.
Here is what I came up with, with the vector nodes on one letter still showing (screen shot):
You can delete the layer with the curved line on it at this point and it will not affect your text.
